understandable not everyone has access to a local babywearing group or
a specialty baby shop to try on different baby carriers. So we've
created a rental program for parents like you! We inspect all baby
carriers available for rent and ONLY offer carriers on clearance and in Excellent Used Condition.
So how does it work?
All the baby carriers listed here are available for rent at $10 for 10 days! (that's 2 weeks!)
Each household may rent up to 3carriers at a time.
The non-refundable rental fee of $10INCLUDES shipping to you! It's not deducted in the refund of your deposit.
We authorize your credit card for retail deposit (the listed sale price) for each rented carrier. We do NOT charge you the retail price UNLESS the carrier(s) are not returned to us.
At
the end of the rental period, you may keep the carrier for the price of
the retail deposit (which is a bargain!), which we will then charge to your credit card, OR return the carrier back to us in its original
condition.
With each rental, we include a pre-addressed USPS Priority Mail envelope for your convenience. The return postage to us, however, is your responsibility.
Note:
all carriers are shipped without its original packaging to optimize
shipping cost. All of our manufacturers have their wearing instructions
and / or wearing videos online. If you need help with using your
carrier, please don't hesitate to contact us.
To reiterate, shipping
back to us, Mothering Tao, is your responsibility. We highly recommend
opting for a shipping method with tracking or delivery confirmation.
Any cosmetic or functional damage to the carrier will be assessed a fee, depending on the extent of the damage.
Follow these simple steps:
1. Choose up to 3 carriers of your choice on the Rental page.
2. We will pre-authorize your credit card for the amount of the retail values of the carriers you've chosen and ONLY CHARGE $10 for each carrier you've chosen.
3. Try out the carrier for 2 weeks, from the receipt date.
4. Postmark the returns before the end of the 2-week period. But if you decide to keep one of the carriers, let us know and we'll be glad to charge you the retail price and the carrier is yours!
In the event you do NOT return any of the carriers to us, we will then charge your credit card of the pre-authorized amount.
